Halloween!

Dear Sadie,

For your second Halloween I dressed you up as a sweet little owl. I figure this is the last year you won't have an opinion about what you want to be for Halloween so I picked something I wanted to make. And thankfully, you liked the owl costume. You wore it for about a week before Halloween, and in fact you still ask to get it out all the time. You don't always want to wear it, but sometimes Owl Costume rides in the car with us.

We took you to meet up with some of your playgroup pals at a pumpkin patch.





















We carved pumpkins over at Nana and Grandpa's. Mostly you wanted to stand back and watch while Nana scooped out guts and Daddy wielded the knives.



















We didn't take you trick-or-treating because we thought knocking on strangers' doors would scare our shy girl. Next year you can learn about the candy.
